Rising Star in Journalism: Lucy Stutesman earns her place in The New York Times Corps talent-mentorship program

Lucy Stutesman

Journalist Lucy Stutesman of Washington State University has earned her place in The New York Times Corps talent-mentorship program. The program began in 2022 and is designed for undergraduates who are pursuing journalism.

Stutesman will be paired with Sharon Chan, deputy editor, Culture and Careers. Lucy is Editor-In-Chief of The Daily Evergreen and third-year student at Washington State University majoring in multimedia journalism and broadcast news.

Stutesman is a contributor to the Spokesman-Review, FaVS News, and Stonewall News Northwest.
