Tim Curry, Star of Rocky Horror and More, Dead at 80

The world of entertainment is mourning today. Tim Curry, the legendary actor known for his bold performances and unforgettable characters, has passed away at the age of 80. Over his long career, Curry brought a unique mix of menace, humor, and heart to every role, from the seductive Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show to the terrifying Pennywise in It. His commanding voice and fearless presence made him a true icon.

Born in Cheshire, England, in 1946, Curry’s talent shone early. He gained fame on stage before crossing over to film and TV, where his versatility was unmatched. His portrayal of Pennywise remains one of the most chilling ever, and his stage work earned him Tony nominations, highlighting his love for live performance.
